Hi, I ran across this page and I was shocked that something like this was on the internet. My situation is not detrimental or anything, but I do need some help. My heart went out to some of the posts that I read and I almost did not post because I felt like their situation is more detrimental than mine. I decided to post anyway because I am in need of some resources and hope that some one out their is aware of programs designed for single moms wanting to return to school to better themselves. My situation is much like alot of people. I have a job. I struggle each paycheck to pay bills and always end of broke. My account hasnt been in the negative since I got my income tax but all of that money went on getting a car because me and my two year old had to beg borrow and steal just to get a ride to the market. I can return to school part time and work full time and let my son be raised by my mom, but I dont want that. I want to be a mother and a student and I want to go back to school. I am afraid to purchase this Grant Book that so many people talk about because I dont believe it will help me. Can anyone direct me to where I can go ABSOLUTELY FREE and apply for a grant to start over.
